Twelve months in the Rangitata Valley. These photographs come from More Than A Yarn, my 2025 exhibition in Methven, the result of a five-year visual journey through one of New Zealand’s most iconic high-country regions.
Through the faces, hands and landscapes of the valley, they tell stories of endurance, care and community: the people, animals and rugged country that depend on one another. The aim was never just to document a way of life, but to honour it.
